Tracing the Genealogy of your Home

Join long-time local historian, genealogist and archivist, Patrick McCleary of Petoskey to take a look at the “how to” of researching the history of historic homes and properties. McCleary will discuss the process of historic house research, the particulars of architecture and style, and how to understand the various source documents used in this avenue of research.  By knowing where to look and exploring the resources available, anyone can become a historic home detective! This program takes place at the Harbor Springs History Museum and registration is required.
