Following last year’s sold-out debut, History After Dark returns to the Ephraim Shay Works Museum for another unforgettable evening of historical intrigue, live theater, and unexpected twists.

Step into the story alongside a cast of colorful Harbor Springs characters. As unexpected visitors arrive and secrets emerge, you’ll gather clues, question motives, and attempt to unravel the mystery—all while enjoying a three-course, historically inspired dinner (menu printed below). Will you uncover the truth before the evening ends?

Tickets are $150 per person or $175 with two drink tickets. Businesses or individuals may also sponsor the event by purchasing a table of eight for $1,600, which includes recognition as an event sponsor and four bottles of wine.

A three-course dinner inspired by the season

FIRST COURSE
Harvest Salad
Fresh greens, sliced pears, dried cranberries, farmstead cheese, and maple-Dijon vinaigrette. Served with bread and butter.

SECOND COURSE - FAMILY STYLE
An Autumn Supper
Herb-roasted chicken with savory apple cider pan sauce. Pumpkin risotto with parmesan, brown butter, and crispy sage. Roasted green beans with caramelized shallots.

THIRD COURSE
Apple-Cranberry Crisp
Served warm with whipped cream.
