Blessing Parade Flagship Party

Get on board the flagship Harbor Princess to enjoy first class viewing of the blessing boat parade. This deck party includes one drink ticket as well as snacks and additional drinks available for purchase. The flagship is the anchor of the Blessing of the Fleet boat parade with all other vessels parading by to receive their blessing.

The Harbor Princess is a historic vessel with a rich story. She was launched in 1955 and first known as the Emerald Isle, built for the Beaver Island Boat Company. The 65-foot boat could carry up to 125 passengers and nine vehicles between that remote island in northern Lake Michigan and Charlevoix, its mainland port. It was later bought by the Arnold Transit line to ferry people, horses and other cargo between Mackinac Island and mainland docks in the Straits of Mackinac. Its most recent incarnation was as the Diamond Jack, a dinner and river cruise boat in Detroit. Now part of the Little Traverse Bay Ferry Company, the Harbor Princess is a fantastic addition to the maritime heritage of our community.

PLEASE NOTE: The boat departs from the end of the Harbor Springs City Pier at 4:45 pm sharp. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes early to board. Your name will be on a reservation sheet at the boat; there are no physical tickets. Additional information will be emailed to participants closer to the event date.
