Support the Campaign

To date, the society has raised $2.5 million of our $3 million goal. This includes 100% trustee and campaign cabinet participation, along with more than 270 individual donors. These donations have allowed us to make significant strides in pursuit of establishing a historical corridor. Notably, we have completed a number of much-needed structural and systems upgrades on the Ephraim Shay House, in preparation for its conversion to an educational space and museum of innovation.

Professional exhibit designers are at work on conceptual storylines and interactive displays, focused on the importance of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) education to economic and societal progress, as were relative to the local history of Harbor Springs.

Also, more work needs to be done at the History Museum, inside and outside, to develop exciting new exhibits and keep up with structural repairs, most noticeably painting and wood siding replacement.
