Are you looking for your Antiques Roadshow moment? Interested in finding out more about an old family heirloom? The Harbor Springs Area Historical Society is happy to present our third Heirloom Discovery Days following last year’s very successful event. Appraiser Bob DuMouchelle of DuMouchelle Galleries of Detroit will again join us for two days, August 2-3, 2012.

If you have a few smaller items for appraisal, then our Appraisal Day at the Museum on Friday, August 3 is for you. We have asked DuMouchelle Galleries to be on hand to appraise your family treasures. We are taking registration for appraisals scheduled between 9 am and 4 pm. A handful of appointments are still available so please call for your appointment! They will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may register for the appraisal of up to four items, hand-carried. Pictures of larger items not easily transported to the museum may also be brought in for assessment. An oral appraisal may be given for $10.00 per item or a written one for $15.00 per item. Owners must be present for appraisals.
