Civil War Roundtable Print
Tuesday, February 16 2010, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

If you are interested in Civil War history, this is the discussion group for you. Please join the North West Michigan Civil War Roundtable for their monthly gatherings at the Harbor Springs History Museum. The group picks a different discussion topic each month.

The subject the evenings discussion will be The Battle of Cold Harbor which took place from May 31 thru June 12, 1864. This engagement earned Union Lt. Gen. Grant the unflattering sobriquet "Butcher Grant." Cold Harbor was the last of the Overland Campaign initiated at the Wilderness and marked the end of the manuevering tactics and entered into a seige stalemate at Petersburg.

There is no cost and all are welcome to join in the conversation.
