The Harbor Springs Area Historical Society (HSAHS) was founded in 1990 by a group of concerned citizens committed to preserving the history of the Harbor Springs area. Soon after its founding, HSAHS achieved 501(c)(3) status as a charitable and educational non-profit organization. This commitment continues today as HSAHS welcomes visitors to the new Harbor Springs History Museum. The museum offers not only exhibits and displays celebrating our shared history but also an archives to protect a growing collection of historic photographs and artifacts, a research library, a genealogy center as well as a community space for lectures and programs on Harbor Springs' history. Won't you join us and visit history's home in Harbor Springs! For more information about becoming a member, please visit our Membership Page. |
